WAYNE — Ethan James Russell, 19, of Wayne, passed away on Friday, May 12, in Mount Vernon.

He was born Jan. 3, 1998, at Fort Campbell, Kentucky. Ethan moved to Wayne with his family several years ago. He graduated from Maranacook Community High School in 2016. He attended the CATC program for automotive and welding.

Ethan was a jack-of-all-trades — mechanic, carpenter, welder, farmer and fiberglass tech — and he was working at Dave’s Appliances in Winthrop.

Ethan enjoyed many things, including fishing and hunting, but most of all, he loved to spend time with his friends. Ethan had a huge heart and would do anything for anyone. He will be missed by all. Ethan was the light of our lives; there was never a dull moment when Ethan was around. He just knew how to make everyone smile and laugh.

He is survived by his parents, Nathan James Russell and Shanna Enman Russell; his sister, Delaney Jean Russell; his girlfriend, Kaitlin Souza; maternal grandfather, Wallace Enman; paternal grandfather, Nathan Westly Russell and his wife, Melissa Russell; as well as several aunts and cousins. He was predeceased by his maternal grandmother, Paula H. Enman; and paternal grandmother, Sheryl McDonald.

Memories, condolences, photos and videos may be shared with the family on the obituary page of our website at www.khrfuneralhomes.com.
