MECHANIC FALLS — Pauline J. “Spear” Cox passed away on May 11, 2017 in Mechanic Falls. Pauline was born in Stoneham, Mass. on Feb. 20, 1957, daughter of George H. Spear and Pauline B. Spear. Pauline raised her family in Mechanic Falls.

She was an employee at Mechanic Savings bank for 20 plus years. Her dog, Molly has been her trusted companion for seven years.

Pauline is survived by her brother, Malcolm Spear; sisters, Barbara Stewart, Patricia Stocker and husband, George, Ruth Sousa and husband, Dennis; her beloved children, Kari and husband, Chaz Reed of Bridgton, their children, Hannah, Micaela, Katherine and Juliana; son, Jeffrey Cox of Mechanic Falls; daughter, Chrissy and husband, Randy Kimball of Mechanic Falls and their children, Trafton and Gardner.

Pauline was predeceased by her grandson, Randy Cox, son of Jeffrey.

Pauline wanted to acknowledge Kari, Chrissy and Jeffrey for all their help and support through her battle with cancer. Pauline wants her children and grandchildren and family to know and remember she loved them.
