Majick Starchild creeps through a shelter in the woods of the Smithfield Plantation in Litchfield on Thursday morning. The activity was a part of Litchfield Forestry Day in which students got to explore a variety of science and forestry projects. The shelter was improved upon by the students, who added sticks and leaves to the structure as an example of a survival tactic that would be used in the wilderness.
