LEWISTON — The Maine College of Health Professions’ will hold its first Wellness Conference from 8 a.m. to 2:45 p.m. Saturday, June 17, at the MCHP building, 70 Middle St. It will feature workshops covering integrative wellness practices and living with chronic diseases.
Topics will include aromatherapy, hiking in New England, integrative wellness and medicine in Maine, living with Lyme Disease and mindful movement as medicine.
Presenters will include local nurses, a reverend, authors and integrative practitioners. All nurses, students, health care providers and members of the public are invited to attend.
The conference is open to the public. MCHP recommends early registration because space is limited.
