LEWISTON — The Lewiston Police Department is reminding motorists and passengers that beginning Monday, May 29, officers will begin aggressively enforcing Maine’s seat belt law.
In part due to a Maine Bureau of Highway Safety grant, police will be dedicating their time on day and night shifts to stopping and, when appropriate, citing drivers and passengers for not wearing seat belts.
