BRIDGTON — Bridgton Hospital presented its most recent Sunshine Award to Michelle Gladish who works at Bridgton Pediatrics.
The Sunshine Award was established to reward and celebrate the extraordinary skills and compassionate care given by technical support staff. Sunshine Award recipients consistently demonstrate compassion, patient- and family-focused care, passion about life, patient advocacy, and their support of all health care team members.
Gladish was nominated for her outstanding work with pediatric patients. From answering the many questions of a teenage patient about health and anatomy to having patients specifically ask for her when they make appointments.
She is described as, “compassionate, dedicated, empathetic, phenomenal, reliable, and going above and beyond to deliver quality care.”
