Saturday Story Time in Norway
NORWAY — Norway Memorial Library will host a Saturday Story Time for families who are unable to make it to the weekday events.
Saturday Story Time will be held at 10:30 a.m. on the second Saturday of each month in the Children’s Room.

Open Observatory Night
PARIS — Twitchell Observatory’s monthly Open Observatory Night will be from 9:30 to 11:30 p.m. Saturday, June 3, if skies are clear, on Hooper Ledge Road.
The alternative date is Friday, June 2. The firm date will be posted on the observatory’s website.

Black Mountain bottle drive
RUMFORD — Friends of Black Mountain is having a bottle drive on Saturday, June 3, at the Waldo Street Redemption Center.
Peru Historical Society meeting
PERU — The Peru Historical Society will meet for a work meeting at 8 a.m. Thursday, June 8, at the Historical Society building.
Participants should bring a bag lunch.
Game warden to share stories
RUMFORD — Game Warden Daren Worcester of Hanover will talk about his experiences in the Maine Warden Service at noon Saturday, June 10, at the Rumford Public Library.
Worcester recently published “Open Season: True Stories of the Maine Warden Service,” which includes true stories of North Woods Law Enforcement.
Honey bee club plans workshop
PARIS — The Oxford Hills Honey Bee Club’s workshop will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, June 10, at the Oxford County Extension Center, 9 Olson Road.
Ken Record will demonstrate how to graft queens, and there will be an open hive, weather permitting.
Attendees should bring their veils. The public is welcome.
