First Auburn Seniors to meet 

AUBURN — The First Auburn Senior Citizens will meet at 11 a.m. Wednesday, June 7, for a regular meeting, which will follow the 10 a.m. board meeting. 

Those attending should bring a bag lunch and coffee cup. Bingo will be played, and tickets will be on sale for the June 21 finger roll lunch for $5 each. 

There were 49 members present at the last meeting. Attendance winners were Rosemarie Allen and Belinda Gerry; Pot of Gold, Nancy Hutchinson, Paula Mikkelsen and Fran St. Pierre; and 50-50, Lucille Dick, Frank Pippin and Evelyn Sawin. 

Drumming group making a beat 

LEWISTON — The Hand Drumming Group plays from 1 to 3 p.m. on the second Sunday of the month, at Trinity Church, 247 Bates St. The group will play next on June 11


All levels and styles of drummers can play, and they can bring their own instrument or try one of the club’s drums. The cost to play is by donation. 

IHM Golden Age Club to meet

LEWISTON — The Immaculate Heart of Mary Golden Age Club will meet at 11 a.m. Tuesday, June 13, at Sacred Heart Church.

Lunch will be from noon to 1 p.m. The board members will meet at 10:45 a.m.

Lunch will be take-out from Kentucky Fried Chicken (several choices and prices).

There will be a swap raffle, so guests are encouraged to an item to donate.

Reservations must be made by June 11, in order to attend.

New members and guests are always welcome.
