LEWISTON — Wallace E. Hill Sr. passed away peaceably surrounded by family on Sunday morning, June 4, at d’Youville Pavilion. Wallace was born May 3, 1940, in Lewiston, the youngest of three boys to Stanley Hill and Annie Donnell.
Wallace grew up and attended schools in Monmouth. He worked hard to provide for his family throughout his life.
Wallace married Blanche Kilbreath March 21, 1987, in Leeds. They traveled around the United States for many years when Wally worked with the Teamsters. They also enjoyed many years of wintering in Dade City with their Florida friends.
Wallace is survived by his wife, Blanche; his four sons, Kendall and his wife, Cheri, Kevin and his wife, Heather, Wallace Jr. and his wife, Tina, and Kenneth and his wife, Sarah; daughter, Heidi; stepdaughter, Earlene Murphy; stepson, Peter Hickey; 16 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren.
