CANTON — Mr. Ronald E. Touchette, 92, died Tuesday, June 6, at the Pinnacle Health and Rehab in Canton. He was a resident of Roxbury.
Born in Roxbury on April 8, 1925, he was a son of William and Annie (Hickey) Touchette. He was a graduate of Stephens High School in Rumford with the Class of 1942 and served in the U.S. Army during WWII. He worked as a millwright for Boise Cascade Paper Mill in Rumford.
Ronald was married to Carrie Holmquist who died on May 12, 1982.
Survivors include a son, Ronald Touchette and his wife, Dee-Dee, of Rumford; a brother, Maynard Touchette and his wife, Anna, of Peru; a sister, Nancy Patenaude of Peru; granddaughter, Brookes Brooks and her husband, Daniel, of Alfred; great-grandchild Weston Brooks of Alfred.
He was predeceased by his parents; his wife, Carrie; two sisters, Sandy Rich and Beatrice Gill; and a brother, Bradley Touchette.
