Jam session in Auburn Tuesday

AUBURN — The Park Avenue Pickers hold a monthly jam session at 6:15 p.m. on the second Tuesday of the month at the Auburn United Methodist Church, 439 Park Ave.

The next session will be June 13.

The jam session is open to all musicians.

AUBURN — Robin Dow Senior Citizens met on May 24, for their regular meeting.

A memorial service was held to honor deceased members, followed by a lasagna luncheon.

Attendance winners were Mary Tyler and Pat Lambert.

Orange Tickets- Bea Brooks, Opal Grant and Nancy Roy.

White Tickets- Carmela Hewitt, Lorelei Fyfe and Bruce Macomber.

Red Tickets- Bob Lavertu, Nancy Hutchinson and Bruce Macomber.

The next regular meeting is June 14. The Board of Director’s will meet prior to the regular meeting.

Lewiston Democratic Committee meeting

LEWISTON — ?The Lewiston Democratic City Committee will hold its monthly business meeting at 6:30 p.m. Wednesday, June 14, at the Lewiston Armory.

Monthly business will be conducted and reports from events and fundraising committee will be received. As always there will be a block of time set aside for an open forum and time for upcoming event announcements.

All Lewiston residents are welcome to join the Lewiston Democratic Committee.

Lakeside Chapter honors fathers

WALES – Lakeside Chapter will continue its 118th year by honoring fathers at 7 p.m. Tuesday, June 13, at the Masonic Building, 233 Centre Road.

The ladies will be in colored gowns and the gentlemen in tuxedos or dark suits.

All members and Eastern Star visitors are welcome. There will be light refreshments after the meeting.

• Brother Brett Jervis was elected Associate Grand Patron;

• Two Sisters each won a Grand Chapter Basket;

• Lakeside was awarded two stars for their ESTARL Certificate for charitable giving to the ESTARL Scholarships; and

• The Travelers Club had several members march in it.
