AUBURN — Susan Hedrich will be the speaker at the upcoming Auburn-Lewiston Breakfast Rotary breakfast meeting Wednesday, June 14.
The event will be held from 7 to 8 a.m. at the United Methodist Church, 439 Park Ave.
Hedrich began her career in healthcare volunteer leadership at Central Maine Medical Center in 1987. Over the years, she advanced to the system director of Volunteer Services, which includes Central Maine Medical Center, Bridgton and Rumford hospitals with over 285 senior and junior volunteers.
Hedrich earned her certified administrator of volunteer services designation in 2016 from the National Association for Healthcare Volunteer Resource Professionals.
She has also been recognized by the Maine Commission for Community Service of the Governor’s Office with the Excellence in Volunteer Administration Award as well as her state professional association with the Director of Volunteer Excellence Award in 2014.
Hedrich was recently awarded two New England Volunteer Services professional awards at the annual New England Association of Directors of Healthcare Volunteer Services professional conference, which Maine hosted. She earned the New England Association for Professional Excellence and the Team of Stars Award, which recognizes members of the board for outstanding contributions.
Reservations are not required to attend. Breakfast is $10.
