MEXICO — Five employees were hired at the Regional School Unit 10 meeting Monday night: 

• Leah Kaulback was hired as business manager, replacing Mary Dailey who is now RSU 56’s business manager. Kaulback was recently an administrative assistant in the Social Services Department for RSU 10.

• Scott Holmes was hired as Building, Grounds and Transportation director, replacing Kenny Robbins, who has joined RSU 56 as its Building, Grounds and Transportation director. Holmes was RSU 10’s assistant director of the department.

• Carly Georgen, a 2017 University of Maine at Farmington graduate with a dual certification in elementary education and special education, was hired as a special education teacher for Rumford Elementary School. Georgen completed her student teaching at Rumford Elementary School this year.

• Sara Murphy was hired as a special education teacher for Hartford-Sumner Elementary School. She has been Dirigo Elementary School’s guidance counselor for six years.

• Crystal Duguay was hired as clinical supervisor at Pennacook Learning Center, replacing Laurie Raymond. Duguay was most recently a guidance counselor at Dirigo Elementary School.

Debra Sullivan, a Rumford Elementary School kindergarten teacher, is resigning in August; Richard Briggs, Mountain Valley Region Grounds and Maintenance, is retiring at the end of December; Doug Gilbert, a Dirigo High School math teacher resigned in June; and Gardner Hinckley, a Mountain Valley High School Social Studies teacher, resigned in June.
