MINOT — A Lewiston assistant principal has been hired to lead Minot Consolidated School.
The Regional School Unit 16 board on Monday approved the hiring of Kaitlynn Brown as principal of the elementary school. Brown has been serving as assistant principal of McMahon Elementary School in Lewiston.
Michelle Russell, assistant principal at Farwell Elementary in Lewiston, will take over for Brown at McMahon.
Brown starts July 1. She replaces Kim Spencer, who served as principal for three years and is retiring.
Minot Consolidated School has about 240 students in prekindergarten through grade 6.
