DIXFIELD — Voters on Tuesday turned down the Police Department budget, 206-227, according to Town Clerk Theresa Hemingway.
They also rejected appropriating $25,000 for a police station capital improvement reserve fund, 186-248.
Voters did not approve $5,200 for miscellaneous funding, 207-223.
They passed the remaining articles.
The Board of Selectmen will meet Monday to discuss what option to take on the failed articles.
For the open selectman seat, Selectman Norman Mitchell won a three-year term with 217 votes.
Write-in candidate Ben Welch had 134 votes.
