NORWAY — The Norway Memorial Library announces its annual adult summer reading program, “It’s Elementary: Clues and Deduction: A Summer with Sherlock Holmes.” The reading program includes discussion of three books and a trivia game.

The first book in the series is Sir Arthur Conan Doyle’s “A Study in Scarlet,” to be discussed at 6:30 p.m. Thursday, June 22.

The second novel is Anthony Horowitz’s interpretation of Sherlock Holmes, “The House of Silk” at 6:30 p.m. Thursday, July 20.

“The Beekeeper’s Apprentice,” by Laurie R King, will end the discussion series at 6:30 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 10.

There will also be a trivia contest, “The Game’s Afoot,” beginning on Thursday, June 22, and ending on Thursday, Aug. 10. Each week a trivia question about the world of Sherlock Holmes will be released on Facebook and in print at the library. Participants can submit their answers either by email or in person at the Information Desk by end of Thursday, Aug. 17. The drawing will be held Friday, Aug. 18. The prize will be a book of their choosing and a library book bag.
