
Pvt. Dennis Everson of the Lewiston Fire Department connects sections of fire hose behind the Central Fire Station on Wednesday morning. The annual exercise takes about two weeks to test the entire inventory of hoses on the trucks to make sure they will stand up to the pressure and eliminate blowouts at fire scenes.
