• June 13, 8:42 a.m.: The Big Apple on River Road reported a customer purchased a number of lottery scratch tickets, left the store without them and someone else then took them. Lt. Dan Carrier is investigating.

• June 11, 4:15 p.m.: A female walking along the “Honda” trail near the Mexico Boat Launch reported being assaulted by a male, who punched her and broke her jaw. She was taken to Rumford Hospital. Officer Rob Drouin arrested Zachery Giberson, 26, Rumford, and charged him with aggravated assault. He was transported to the Oxford County Jail in Paris.

• June 10, 10:04 p.m.: Lisa Pierce, 48, Mexico was arrested by Officer Drouin on warrants for failure to appear and failure to pay fine for operating under the influence. She was transported to the county jail.

• June 9, 9:47 p.m.: Officer Drouin responded to a car-moose accident near 275 Swift River Road. A 2000 Chevrolet operated by Pamela Sharkey, 54, of Rumford struck the moose. Sharkey suffered small cuts and abrasions and was treated and released from Rumford Hospital. The vehicle was totaled.

• June 5, 8:57 p.m.: A Mexico Avenue resident reported that the front license plate on his vehicle was stolen while he was in his home. There are no suspects.
