The directors of two regional arts shows in July have a plan to make it easier and more cost effective for artists to sign up for both shows.
The directors of the Norway Arts Festival and the Moore Park Art Show met recently and devised a way for artists to sign up for both shows in one envelope while saving a total of $30 on both registration fees.
If artists only register for one show, the fee is $65. If registering for both shows at the same time, the fee is $50 each.
Artists may mail both art show applications in one envelope, with one check for $100 made out to one or the other organization. The show directors will do the rest. Artists will then receive confirmation, and detailed information from each organization separately.
As an added benefit the show directors have agreed to mutually list the artists in their respective programs.
The Norway Arts Festival art show is 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. July 8. Applications can be downloaded at www.norwayartsfestival.org.
