Nick Poland, a certified pool operator at the Lewiston’s Kennedy Park pool, touches up the deck Monday. The pool is set to open at noon June 26. Poland said it’s cool seeing the children enjoying the water. “The kids (are) laughing and giggling — it’s nice knowing that the kids do appreciate it.”
