The Maine Chapter, American Society of Professional Estimators (ASPE), has awarded $500 scholarships to three students in the Building Construction Technology (BCT) program at Central Maine Community College. The scholarships were presented at a recent meeting to honor students Eliza Robbins of Whitefield, Shane Kimball of Standish and Matthew Martin of Saco. The scholarships are named in memory of longtime ASPE member Guy Washburn, who was an educator and avid supporter of education in building construction. His wife, Linda, participated in the presentations.
