The event will include a 50/50 raffle, and take-out will be available. Proceeds will benefit the Maine Veterans Homes in Paris and Togus.

MADRID — The Madrid Historical Society will host the township’s annual picnic, from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday, July 1, in Bud’s Field on Reeds Mill Road.
Hamburgers, hot dogs, and place settings will be provided. Attendees should bring a dish to share and beverage of their choice. All residents and landowners in Madrid are welcome to attend along with their families and friends.
