LEWISTON — Joint City Council and Planning Board workshop, 7 p.m. in the City Council chambers at City Hall. Agenda includes discussion on student housing/lodging houses and implementing the comprehensive plan. 


LEWISTON — Summer Fun & Films movie night with Lewiston police. Movie “Sing” will be shown outdoors at dusk at Simard-Payne Memorial Park. Pre-movie activities include a bouncy house, games and art activities. Free. Activities begin at 6 p.m.


LEWISTON — Annual L-A World Refugee Day, 5:30-7:30 p.m., Simard-Payne Memorial Park, featuring international food, music, activities and conversations. Public welcome to experience the “far from home” refugee simulation, based on Catholic Charities of Maine’s “In Their Shoes” program.
