LITCHFIELD — Georgianna Saucier died Sunday, June 25, at the home of her daughter, Debbie and husband, Joe, in Litchfield with her family at her side.
She was born in Lewiston on April 26, 1943, a daughter of James and Verna Voisine Saucier. Georgianna attended St. Mary School. She then married Paul Soucier, who predeceased her. She then married Rodney Hathorne.
Georgianna worked as a homemaker most of her life. She also worked as a cook and CNA. She was involved in parish life at Prince of Peace Parish. Georgianna loved to bake, play bingo and cards with her family.
In addition to her parents and first husband, she was predeceased by her son, Roger Soucier; and two brothers and a sister.
Survivors include her daughters, Deborah Wing and husband, Joe, and Linda Soucier and partner, Glenn Varney, sons, Wayne Hathorne and Michael Hathorne, all of Litchfield; brothers, George Saucier and wife, Anita, Martin Saucier and wife, Carlene, Donald Saucier and wife, Sheila, Richard Saucier and wife, Kim, and Nelson Saucier; sister, Mildred Cyr and partner, Jack; Jim Boutinier, Georgianna’s partner; and several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
The family would like to extend thanks to the hospice workers for their help in allowing her wishes of passing at home among family.
