AUBURN — Venise Claire (Goulet) Pratt, 69, passed away Friday, June 23, at the Hospice House in Auburn, with her family by her side.

Venise was born in Lewiston on Dec. 15, 1947, the daughter of Bertrand and Doretta (Laroche) Goulet. She attended Lewiston schools, graduating from Lewiston High School in 1965.

She worked at Maine Family Credit Union as a loan officer for 25 years. She enjoyed spending time with family, playing cards on the computer, fishing, camping, attending family functions at Cobbossee Lake, and especially enjoyed meeting friends for coffee.

She is survived by the love of her life of 50 years, husband, L. Anthony Pratt of Lewiston; two daughters, Joline Boulay and husband, Normand, of Lewiston and Melissa Pratt and fiancé, Scott, of Lewiston; a brother, Gerry Goulet of Lewiston; five grandchildren, Amanda Mercier, Zachary Pratt and fiancée, Keshia, Taylor Pratt and Austin Merritt; five great-grandchildren, Aundreyah, Savannah, Maddax, Hunter and Grayson; and many nieces and nephews. She also leaves behind a special lifelong friend, Rachel Tardif of Sabattus.

She was predeceased by a grandson, Benjamin Boulay.

Venise’s family would like to give special thanks to the nursing staff on the Thompson T-3 Wing at Central Maine Medical Center, the Hospice House and Dr. Christopher Kitchen for the love and care they gave.
