WALES — Richard S. Wing, 57, of Wales, passed away Tuesday, June 27, at his home with his loving wife, Diana, by his side.

The oldest of seven children, he was born July 18, 1959, in Lewiston, the son of Richard F. Wing and Gertrude L. (Robillard) Wing. He graduated from Oak Hill High School, Class of 1976. Richard served our nation in the U.S. Army from 1977 to 1981. On Sept. 26, 2009, in Litchfield, he married the love of his life, Diana Brooks, of Litchfield. He worked at Tambrands in Auburn and retired due to health issues. He enjoyed crocheting, cooking on the grill and reading his Bible. Richard especially enjoyed spending time playing and cooking with his grandchildren.

He is survived by his wife, Diana Wing of Wales; three stepdaughters, Jessica Parlin and her husband, Merton, of Litchfield, Nicole Gallagher and her husband, Joshua, and Belinda Baumer and her husband, Mike, of Litchfield; and a stepson, David Wing of Wales; four brothers, Joseph Wing and his wife, Debra, of Litchfield, David Wing and his wife, Michelle, of Litchfield, Philip Wing and his companion, Brenda, of Auburn, and Kenny Wing of Wales; two sisters, Kathy Vye and her husband, Andy, of Litchfield, and Christine Munsey; and eight grandchildren.

He will be greatly missed by his family and friends.

He was predeceased by his parents.
