The Maine Administrators of Services for Children with Exceptionalities honored Tammy Ashbury-Hoy, left, a special education teacher from the Guy E. Rowe School in Norway, as Maine’s Special Education Professional of the Year. The banquet was held in Bar Harbor on June 21. She has taught at the Rowe school for more than 30 years. Her expertise is in the field of autism and significant disabilities. Jane Morse, right, director of special services for SAD 17, offers her congratulations.
