Lewiston Middle School seventh-graders Cadence Nadeau, left, from Team Purple, and Jaden Bowden, right, from Team Green, were awarded the annual Tammy Martin ACE Award at the seventh-grade awards ceremony. Each received a $250 scholarship and a $50 gift card. The award is given in memory of Tammy Martin, a seventh-grade student who died in 1990, due to cancer. The recipients must perform well in science, have a positive attitude in and out of school as well as have musical talents, qualities similar to those that Tammy possessed.
