Nichols Family Reunion Sunday

WELD — The Nichols Family Reunion will be held at 10 a.m. Sunday, July 16, at The Grove on Webb Lake.

MEXICO — The Mexico Historical Society will meet at 5 p.m. Monday, July 17, at the Wills Homestead Museum, 3 Oxford St.

The evening will begin with a pot luck supper followed by a short meeting. The presenter will be Sister Bernadette Gautreau, storyteller and workshop facilitator

Gautreau spent 50 years among the Cree of the Little Red River Nation of northern Alberta, Canada. She will present a display of Native American artifacts and will recount some of her experiences working and living among the Woodland Cree.

Livermore library annual meeting

LIVERMORE — The annual meeting of the Livermore Public Library Association will be held at 6 p.m. Wednesday, July 19, at the library.

The public is welcome.

Fish & Game club picnic

PARIS — The Norway-Paris Fish & Game Association will meet Wednesday, July 19, for the annual club picnic.

The club will provide cook out style hamburgers and hot dogs while the membership will bring salads and desserts.

Two items are on the agenda. Firstly the drawing for the youth lifetime fishing license and the membership will vote to add Article XII to the by-laws stating that our facility is not for rent.

Clothing sought for Kid’s Korner

WEST PARIS — The First Universalist Church of West Paris has started a new community program called Kid’s Korner to collect and distribute clothing for infants and toddlers, free of charge.

Kid’s Korner will be open from 9 a.m. to noon on the first and third Saturday of the month and from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. on the first and third Sunday of the month at the church, 208 Main St.

Parents and caregivers in need of clothing or diapers for an infant or toddler may visit the church for items during these times.

The church is also seeking donations of clean, new or gently used infant and toddler clothing for the program.

The grand opening will be Saturday and Sunday, Aug. 5 and 6.

Rumford Seniors considering travel destinations

PERU — The Rumford Seniors would like feedback about where to travel for a spring trip.

The Seniors are considering Amish country in Pennsylvania, Washington, D.C. or Prince Edward Island, Canada.
