Old Town Elementary School will hold an open house at its resource center from noon-2 p.m. on July 26.
Community organizations such as Penquis CAP, Bangor Public health, and the River Coalition will be on hand to provide information to families about services and resources that are available to them; there also will be nutrition demonstrations. Additionally, there will be a food drive of non-perishable items for the OTES food closet, and tours of the school’s community garden; families will be able to take home fresh food from the garden that may be available.
For more information, contact School Community Coordinator jenn Goodwin at jennifer.goodwin@rsu34.org or 827-1544.
