BANGOR — Cecile Morin Brown passed away quietly on July 14.
Cecile was born Oct. 9, 1924, in Lewiston, to Alphonse and Camille Morin. She was one of 16 children. Cecile married Howard Brown in December 1942.
She was a homemaker most of her life but worked a short time for the University of Maine. She spent many summers at camp at Moosehead Lake. Her favorite thing was spending time with her family.
She was predeceased by her husband, Howard; mother and father; one daughter, Gail Brooks; one grandson, Jeff Doyle; one great-grandson, Lucas; and 14 siblings.
She is survived by her daughters, Diana Crowley and Deborah Carle; one son, Gary Brown; one sister, Jeannette Freve; and 27 grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren; as well as many nieces and nephews.
