Adam Lee is my “big brother.” When I was 9 years old, my mom tried to find a male figure in my life, and so we went through the Big Brother, Big Sister program.
The program felt that Lee and I would best connect; they were right. Through the years, he and I have done activities such as running, fantasy football and basketball. Along the way he has taught me so many lessons about life, including finances, social life and work. He has always supported his “little brother.”
The one thing I respect most in Lee is his work ethic and how much time and passion he devotes to the activity at hand while balancing his life in other areas.
If there is one person on this Earth I could choose as the mayor of Auburn, I would, hands down, say Adam Lee.

We believe it's important to offer commenting on certain stories as a benefit to our readers. At its best, our comments sections can be a productive platform for readers to engage with our journalism, offer thoughts on coverage and issues, and drive conversation in a respectful, solutions-based way. It's a form of open discourse that can be useful to our community, public officials, journalists and others.
We do not enable comments on everything — exceptions include most crime stories, and coverage involving personal tragedy or sensitive issues that invite personal attacks instead of thoughtful discussion.
You can read more here about our commenting policy and terms of use. More information is also found on our FAQs.
