LEWISTON — The YWCA Central Maine invites nominations for the annual Women of Achievement Awards program, which recognizes the accomplishments of women in the fields of leadership, service, philanthropy and social justice.
Community members are invited to nominate women of all ages across diverse fields of expertise who live and work in Androscoggin County or the state.
Nomination forms are available at the YWCA’s website, bit.ly/2uugAwL. Completed nominations may be emailed to ywcawomenofachievementawards@gmail.com.
An in-print version can be picked up at the YWCA. Nominations are due by 5 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 1, and can be submitted via email or to the YWCA Central Maine at 130 East Ave.
The Women of Achievement Awards Gala will be held on Thursday, Oct. 19, at the Gendron Franco Center.
