LIVERMORE — Tuesday night was a bit dramatic when selectpersons opened eight bids for a tax-acquired property.

The first bid opened for the land-only parcel, Map R-6 Lot 17 on Dudley’s Corner, was from Livermore resident Ben Guild. His bid was $1,001.25.

The second bid was from Tiffany Patcher of Chesterville. Her bid was $1,001.99.

The six other bids ranged from $305 to $828.

The board voted unanimously to accept the highest bid.

Also approved was Livermore resident Rodney Newman’s bid of $6,767 for a tax-acquired property, Map R-11, Lot 11, also known as the Peacock property. Johnny Castonguay of Livermore bid $6,300.
