The Housing Authority of the City of Old Town is offering a free new program, “Comforably Home.”
The Comfortably Home program helps seniors live independently and safely in their own homes. A professional team will offer the following services:
Safety checks of smoke and CO detectors,dryer v ents, and refrigerator coils.
Modifications to grab bars, handrails, shower wands, shower seats, and raised toilet seats.
Minor repairs such as flooring, winterizing, storm door work, light bulbs, furnace filters,egress exits,drawer pulls, lighting, doorknobs, floor transitions, minor electrical work, floor transitions, steps and exsiting ramps, and minor plumbing.
