Morocco presentation at Cary Library
WAYNE — Marc Rochkind will speak about his visits to Morocco when he presents “Morocco: A Land of Contrasts” at 7 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 9, at the Cary Memorial Library, 17 Old Winthrop Road, off Route 133.

Buckfield Historical Society to meet
BUCKFIELD — The Buckfield Historical Society meets the second Thursday of the month from April to October beginning with a social hour from 6 to 7 p.m. followed by the business meeting and presentation by a guest speaker.
The meetings are always open to the public.
LPL Spa Night Aug. 10
LEWISTON — Lewiston Public Library will host a spa night to wrap up its summer reading challenge from 5 to 6:30 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 10, at 200 Lisbon St.
Teens and adults older than 13 years may relax with a evening of self-care. This event will feature soft music and an atmosphere to help participants take a moment for themselves.
Those attending make easy, at-home recipes for skincare and makeup, learning how to give themselves a brief massage and perform relaxing breathing techniques, as well as have a mock-tail or two to enjoy.

Cox Family Reunion Aug. 12
LIVERMORE — The 91st annual Cox Family Reunion will be held from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 12, at the Livermore Community Center on Church Road.

FARMINGTON — The SeniorsPlus office will be open for scheduled appointments Wednesdays from 12:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m.
Walk-in hours are from 12:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. and will be held on the second Thursday of every month.
Staff will be on hand to answer any questions or concerns about services and resources for older adults and adults with disabilities and their families. These services are free and open to the public.
