LEWISTON — Annette R. Lemelin How, 74, of Lewiston passed away on Saturday, Aug. 12, at her home in Lewiston.

She was born on July 18, 1943, in Biddeford, a child of Stanislas J. and Elise R. Lemelin. She was educated in St. Andre’s Grammar School in Biddeford and graduated from Marie Joseph Academy in Biddeford Pool in 1961. She worked at Fairchild Semiconductor in South Portland and TD Bank in Lewiston. She lived in Biddeford, South Portland, and in Lewiston for 20 years.

She enjoyed attending church, spending time with family and friends and dining out. Annette had a very good memory and was a resource for all family history.

Annette is survived by two daughters, Jeanne How of South Portland and Mary Hammond and her husband, Frank, of Auburn; three grandchildren, Cassandra Spencer and her husband, Chris, of Lewiston, Allyson Hammond of Farmington and Eric Hammond of Auburn; a great-granddaughter, Zelda Spencer of Lewiston; a brother, Maurice Lemelin and his wife, Dorothy, of Scarborough; a sister-in-law, Joan Lemelin, and her three sons, Patrick, Stephen and Luke, all of Burlington, Mass.; and numerous cousins, aunts and uncles living in Quebec, Canada.

She was predeceased by her parents; husband, James O. How, who passed in 1978; and her brother, Albert Lemelin.
