Bates College Associate Head Coach Vanessa Williamson swims during the 200-meter butterfly at the 2017 FINA World Masters Swimming Championships in Budapest, Hungary, on Saturday. Williamson, an Edward Little of Auburn and Bates College of Lewiston graduate, placed second in the world in this event. She also placed 10th in the 50-meter butterfly, fifth in the 200-meter individual medley and fourth in the 100-meter butterfly over four days of competition.
