Bob Perry talks with Violet Enman, Sumner Food Bank supervisor, and Hope Presbyterian Church youth team members about the placement of counters and shelves in the food bank. Perry, a local wood carver, often donates his carpentry skills to do upgrades at the food bank, located at the rear of the Congregational Church of East Sumner, 50 Main St. It is open to Sumner residents from 9 a.m. to noon on first and third Mondays.
