FARMINGTON — The United Way of the Tri-Valley Area is sponsoring a two-day workshop titled Winning the Race While Taking On Water: Grant Writing in Challenging Seas.”
It will be facilitated by Karen Barrett, Ph.D, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Thursdays, Sept. 7 and 14, Room 329, University of Maine at Farmington Education Center.
Cost for two full days and lunch is $100. The workshop is limited to 15 participants.
The opportunity will help participants understand the grant-making process and be more competitive in writing grants. There will be time between sessions to more fully develop a grant application.
This program is designed for those who want a comprehensive introduction, but can be tailored to the more seasoned grant writer.
