LEWISTON — Randy E. Burgess, 63, of Auburn died on Sunday, August 20, in Lewiston due to complications of an underlying illness. He was born in Boston MA on August 1, 1954 to parents Jasper and Virginia Burgess.
Randy enjoyed putting together model ships, and anything to do with working with his hands. He loved his Red Sox and Patriots, and also enjoyed his cup of coffee, and bowling with his best friend, William Corliss. Randy also loved to work in his mother’s garden.
Randy was a jack-of-all-trades and an industrial engineer.
He was predeceased by his wife, Helena; brother, Michael, and father, Jasper.
Randy will be missed by his children, Crystal Burgess, Amanda Nolin, Derek “Buckwheat” Burgess, Elizabeth “Miss Piggy” Brown, and Caleb “Herb” Burgess; grandchildren, Alex, Ivy, Destiny, Gage, Jack, David, Jacob, Victoria, Nadiya, and Avianna; Brothers, Leonard and wife, Donna Burgess, Steven and wife, Nancy Burgess, Daniel and wife, Sarah Burgess; and sisters, Sherry and husband, Richard Nehiley, and Melody Chandler.
