LEWISTON — Roger C. Dutil, 81, of Auburn died unexpectedly Wednesday, Aug. 23, at St. Mary’s Regional Medical Center.
He was born in Lewiston on Aug. 5, 1936, the son of the late Armand A. and Marie Anna (Baillargeon) Dutil, and had been a resident of this community all of his life.
He was a member of the Jacques Cartier Club, Pastime Club, Les Marchandes de Bonneure Club, Holy Cross Senior Citizens, Sabattus Senior Citizens and a former parishioner of St. Mary’s Parish.
Roger was an avid puzzle maker, doing crossword puzzles and most recently enjoyed adult coloring and also enjoyed traveling.
He is survived by two sisters, Therese Lacasse of Lewiston and Irene McNaughton and her husband, Lewis, of Augusta; and several nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by a brother, Maurice Dutil; and by a sister, Claire Dutil.
