PARIS — Beginner square dance classes will be held from 6:30 to 7:45 p.m. starting Wednesday, Sept. 6, for 15 weeks, at the Oxford Hills Middle School cafeteria, 100 Pine St.
The Swingin’ Bears Square Dance Club, which is offering the classes, is part of the Oxford Hills/Buckfield Adult Education Program.
Ray Hilton of Saco, club caller, will be the instructor and club members will be there to assist.
Workshops at various levels of square dancing will follow from 7:45 to 9 p.m. All mainstream graduates are welcome to attend the workshops and class members are welcome to watch.
Cost is $60 a person or $5 a week to complete the first semester. Singles, couples and families are all welcome. Payment in advance by check should be made payable to Swingin’ Bears Square Dance Club, c/o Esther Tucker, treasurer, P. O. Box 104, West Poland, ME 04291-0104.
