FARMINGTON — Author Patricia O’Donnell will read from her latest work, “Gods for Sale,” and sign copies at 6:30 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 7, at DDG Booksellers, 193 Broadway.
A resident of Wilton, she is a professor of creative writing at the University of Maine at Farmington, where she teaches fiction writing. She also directs the bachelor of fine arts program in creative writing. Her latest work won the 2016 Serena McDonald Kennedy fiction contest and has been published by Snake Nation Press.
Her work has appeared in The New Yorker, Agni Review, The North American Review, Prairie Schooner and The American Literary Review. Her novel, “Necessary Places,” was published in 2012; her memoir, “Waiting to Begin,” was published in August 2016.
