AUBURN — The Auburn Art Club will meet at 2 p.m. Monday, Sept. 11, at the Park Avenue Methodist Church.
The guest speaker will be the Rev. Marian Marks. Marks is an ordained Lutheran minister and amateur photographer. She specializes in outdoor photography, especially birds and wildlife. Marks has won numerous awards and ribbons for her photography.
Since becoming serious about photography Marks has tried to become more aware of what exactly has caught her eye. She said in wildlife the challenge is to capture something of the personality of the birds and animals in the viewfinder.
Hostesses will be Lula Farrington, Sharon Beaudoin, Mary Houlihan, Barbara Mitchell, Carol Seward and Nancy Tebbetts.
