AUBURN — Attorney Jon Oxman participated in the 2017 Workers’ Compensation Summit “Think Tank” panel, moderated by Paul Sighinolfi, director of the Maine Workers’ Compensation Board.
The Think Tank panel consisted of five top Maine workers’ compensation lawyers, representing employers, employees and insurers. The panel discussed potential changes and/or improvements in the workers’ compensation system in Maine, and addressed present day issues with opioid use, medical marijuana, delays in claims decisions, and problems with employers without workers’ compensation coverage.
Oxman is the managing partner at the Auburn law firm of Linnell, Choate & Webber, LLP.

We believe it's important to offer commenting on certain stories as a benefit to our readers. At its best, our comments sections can be a productive platform for readers to engage with our journalism, offer thoughts on coverage and issues, and drive conversation in a respectful, solutions-based way. It's a form of open discourse that can be useful to our community, public officials, journalists and others.
We do not enable comments on everything — exceptions include most crime stories, and coverage involving personal tragedy or sensitive issues that invite personal attacks instead of thoughtful discussion.
