LEWISTON — Lewiston Adult Education will have dance, genealogy and roller derby in the mix for Fall Super Saturday classes on Saturday, Oct. 14, at Lewiston High School. The first class will begin at 8:30 a.m.

The sessions allow people who might not have the time during the week or would like an extended period of time for a particular subject. Michel Vining of United Ambulance will teach CPR, first aid and AED training. Martha Chessie will instruct a utility/clothes basket class, and Stasia Minkowsky, who teaches a number of meditation classes, will offer her Introduction to Metaphysics and meditation class.

Two teachers will offer shorter sessions for Super Saturday. Lin Wright will have two genealogy classes, Using Familysearch.org and Genealogy for Beginners. Anna Golendukhina will teach Latin Basics: Salsa and Latin, Bachata and Merengue.

In addition to genealogy, new offerings include Nancy Callahan teaching about henna and Danielle Fortin teaching Getting Up To Speed About Roller Derby. Fortin will talk about the popularity of Women’s Flat Track Roller Derby and different ways in which people can participate.

Lunch will be included with all day-long classes. Utility/Clothes Basket and Henna have lab fees.
