LEWISTON — Paul William Smith III, of Wales, passed away Saturday, Sept. 2. He was born Sept. 2, at home in Wales and passed away shortly thereafter at CMMC in Lewiston. Paul was surrounded by many family members, including parents, Danielle Sugerman Castle and Paul Smith II.
He was predeceased by his uncle, Jonathan.
He is survived by his parents, Paul William Smith II and Danielle Marie Sugerman Castle; his sister, Marissa, of Wales; brother, Bradley, of Lisbon; maternal grandparents, Martin J. Castle and Deborah A. Sugerman of Lee, N.H., Stephen E. Giles and wife, Jeannine of Waterville; paternal grandparents, Paul W. Smith Sr. of Newcastle and Elaine W. Ridley of Wales. He is also survived by five uncles; five aunts; many cousins; great aunts and uncles; and one great-grandfather.
With the short time Paul was here with us, he was surrounded by so much love. He will be missed and thought of every day and will always be in many hearts.
The parents would like to thank The Fortin Funeral Group of Lewiston, the staff of Central Maine Medical Center of Lewiston and The Colby Fund for all their support and help through all of this.
