Rabies vaccination, microchip clinic
NORWAY — Responsible Pet Care will hold a rabies vaccination and micro-chipping clinic from 9 to 11 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 23, at the Norway Fire Station.
Rabies vaccinations will cost $10 per pet, and microchips will cost $25 each. Micro-chipping pets will aid in locating them if they become lost or should a disaster occur.
The attending veterinarian will be Dr. Suzanne Best, DVM.

Residential shredding offered in Lewiston
LEWISTON — A community shredding event will be held from 9 a.m. to noon Saturday, Sept. 23, at 184 Webster St.
Proceeds will benefit the Androscoggin Humane Society. The cost to have items shred will be a donation to the shelter or dog or cat food.
The shredding event is for residential use and has a three box limit.
