BANGOR — A federal grand jury indicted a New Vineyard man accused of distributing cocaine.

Jordan Richard, 24, formerly of Rangeley, was indicted last week “for distributing cocaine,” acting U.S. Attorney Richard W. Murphy announced in a release Wednesday from the Department of Justice.

If convicted, Richard faces up to 20 years in prison, three years of supervised release and a $1 million fine.

The investigation was conducted by the U.S. Drug Enforcement Administration, Franklin County Sheriff’s Office, Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives, Maine State Police and Rangeley Police Department.
